Carlos Adrián García was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 20 November, 1960. Since early childhood he has been interested in art, painting and aviation. In this way he entered into the world of art and slowly traveled down the road towards tha of a professonial artist.

In 1984 he was hired as an illustrator by Aeroespacio, a public Argentine Air Force magazine, that stimulated and encouraged his still burgeoning professional career. During those years he also illustrated The Malvinas War Encyclopedia; Spanish edition.

He also began college studying Aeronautical Engineering for a while, but he soon left to continue his work as an illustrator and artist.

Mr. García eventually earned a Designer Diploma and started his own publishing business in 1994 producing "Alas de América y del Mundo" a professional level magazine dedicated to topics of aviation and aeronautical matters. He sold his publishing business in 1996. The following year he was awarded a long hoped for contract from Aerolíneas Argentinas to produce a portfolio series of paintings of historic company aircraft.

Amazingly, Mr. García never did any school grade of drawing and painting. His splendid technics were developed just through hands of experience

On 1998 he got a new contract from MC Congresos y Exposiciones to print booklets and illustrated papers over Aviation Show South America (ASSA) 1999.

Middle of 2000 he applies and gets his qualification as the first Southern American artist member of the American Society of Aviation Artists.

Same year he won another contract from Pegasus Aviation Inc. (USA) to produce ten oil paintings that the company will present to airline CEOs, bankers and VIPs.

Either in 2000 the Argentine Post Office requests to Mr. García several stamp designs to celebrate the Birth Centenial of Antoine de Saint Exupery, a French writer and pilot.

Later on, he painted for Consultair, delivering a set of aircraft profiles on the 50th Anniversary of Aerolineas Argentinas and, in 2001, another set on the history of commercial aviation; both sets were composed digitally.

In 2001 he is commissioned by the AIRPAC museum, U.S.N., delivering two oil paintings:
one about Top Gun and one about Vietnam Ace Randy "Duke Cunningham (currently a US Senator).

Argentine Army Aviation has distinguished Carlos García as its "official artist", his paintings can be seen in all of its units.

Also in 2001 he delivered, after a request from Marcos Torres (Goodyear Argentina) a set of profiles for the Uruguayan Airforce, while delivering a painting specially ordered by Helicopteros Marinos.

In 2003, the Argentina Air Force commissioned the artist to illustrate all airplanes used by the Argentina Armed Forces in Malvinas War for its site.
